Michael
Miller, M.D., is a graduate of the Univerity of
Maryland College of Medicine, with
postgraduate training at the University of
California.
A California licensed physician with a broad
range of experience in Family Practice and
Emergency Medicine, he has lived in Thailand
for the last 4 years.

He is Managing Director of Laparoscopic
Bariatric Specialists (LBS) International, and
writes a regular, medical column for "The
Nation" English Language newpaper.
Dr. Mike, as he is called by the Nation and
known locally, is very familiar with
Bangkok’s medical care system. He is
available to answer your questions, advise you
on your procedures and help you choose your
hospital and doctors, as well as co-ordinate
your medical care.

Professor Sutdhachit Linanonda, M.D.,
our Chief of Surgery, is
perhaps Thailand's most experienced
and advanced laparoscopic surgeon and
the only surgeon in Thailand
performing the Roux-en-Y Gastric
Bypass via the Laparoscopic (minimally
invasive) approach.
Dr. Sutdhachit is a graduate of
Mahidol University College of Medicine
and served his surgical residency at
Promgutklao Medical School

He received advanced Laparoscopic
Bariatric Surgery training in the
U.S.A. and Thailand. He recently returned from Austria where he was certified in the latest technique of Adjustable Gastric Banding. He is a
consulting surgeon at multiple
hospitals in Bangkok and travels
throughout Asia teaching advanced
laparoscopic techniques.
He is currently serving as Secretary
General of the Association of General
Surgeons of Thailand, Vice Chairman of
the Royal College of Surgeon and is
Examiner for the Thai Surgery
Specialty Board Examinations. |

Dr.Pusit Fuengfoo, M.D., is a young
star in Thai surgery. A
graduate of Mahidol University, he
has extensive postgraduate training
in critical care as well as
Laparoscopic Surgery. He is a
Diplomate of the Thai Board of
General Surgery, a Fellow of the
Royal College of Surgeons and a
Diplomat of the Thai Board of
Critical Care Medicine. He holds
offices in the Thai Society of
General Surgery as well as being
editor of the Thai Society of
Critical Care Medicine Journal. He
currently teaches advanced surgical
techniques at Pharamongkutklao
University Hospital. |

Dr. Apichai Chaiyaroj, M.D., FRCST,
is one of the finest surgeons in
Thailand. After receiving his
medical degree and post graduate
training in General Surgery from
Chulalangkorn University, he went
abroad for years of extensive sub-specialty
training. Dr. Apichai was
awarded Fellowships in sophisticated
Advanced Minimally Invasive (Laparoscopic)
Techniques in Gastrointestinal and
Bariatric Surgery at Alfred Medical
Center, Melbourne and Flinders
Medical Center, Adelaide, Australia. |
