"I'm feeling great. Weight down to 270 -
notice how my wrist watch is hanging!"

Dale McClure left the hospital with no pain, 48
hours after surgery. One week post-op he weighed 136.6 kilos, down from 146.6 on
admission - 22 lbs in one week...
"Ready to go back to work and not even
hungry", he said.
On April 3rd, 2004, two weeks after his surgery, Dale wrote to us:
"Dear Dr. Clark, I had the surgery in Bangkok
March 22. It went very well and I am home and some 28 lbs lighter already. I
wanted to thank you for telling me about Thailand, it was a wonderful
experience and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much for your help." |
On April 18th, 2004, four weeks after his surgery, Dale wrote to us:
"Just an update on my weight/condition. I took a
DOT (Dept. of Transportation) physical with my family physician on April 13th
and passed it. Weight down to 290 lbs. I am able to eat most meats at this point.
I had a small piece (3 oz) of a filet mignon yesterday - lots of chewing but no
problems. Hunger still not an issue. I have been mowing grass and walking a good
deal and drinking lots of water. Feeling stronger and more energetic every day.
Hope all is well with you. Say hello to everyone. I'll get a picture out to you
soon..."
December 2004: Dale McClure now weighs 209 lbs. Congratulations, Dale!
He is the first LBS Thailand patient to lose over 100 lbs and that IN ONLY 9
MONTHS.
He is currently wearing size large shirts (he was a 3 or 4x) and size 38 jeans (and
these are getting to be a little big for him).
"Again, we really enjoyed our stay in Thailand and
have given at least 3 other people the website address and highly recommended
the surgery there. As with us in the
beginning, people are concerned about leaving the country for something like
this. When speaking to people who are
thinking about the surgery I try to assure them that I would not hesitate to do
this all over again in Thailand." |
